MAT 230: Statistics
In our Statistics course, students will be introduced to basic statistical concepts, probability, and statistical reasoning. We cover the fundamentals of sampling, collecting, and interpreting data. An overview of descriptive statistics is given and ways to comprehend and solve problems related to discrete and continuous random variables. We also cover hypothesis testing, regressions, and F distribution. A number of examples and practice problems are shown throughout the eBook that provide students with the step-by-step processes in order to understand and solve statistical problems.
Prerequisite(s): Prior knowledge of basic mathematical principles is highly recommended.
