I Can't Afford College --- YES You Can!

Back to School

We've been where you are. Years ago, you were in college. And you were well on your way to successfully finishing. And then, life happened.

Even if you haven’t set foot on a college campus in years, and even if you're overwhelmed by high tuition costs, we don't want you to give up on your dream.

All you need is the desire to learn and succeed. Sure, the cost of college can be pricey, but what if you could design your own plan and get your degree for less? This can be done, and Ed4Credit can help you take the first step.

Ed4Credit is not only cost-effective, it’s ideal for anyone interested in an education. Maybe you already have some college credit, but took a few semesters off to work or tend to family responsibilities. Perhaps you’re a millennial who left college because you didn’t want to incur monumental student loan debt; after all, everyone has heard the stories of college graduates who had to move back in with their parents just so they could afford to pay back the loans.

Don't think you can afford college? YES — you can!

There are millions of people, just like you. You're afraid to go back to school because of ridiculously high tuition costs, and because you don't want to get swamped with student loans and interest payments for the rest of your life. We've partnered with the American Council on Education’s to offer college courses and extremely reasonable prices.

Whether you’re interested in accounting courses or learning about psychology, you can work at your own pace, earning college credit at a fraction of the cost you’d pay to attend a class on a traditional campus. Take Principles of Accounting Levels 1 and 2, then top it off with Managerial Accounting. Each class costs just $195 dollars and is worth three college credits. Considering that a basic course at a private or public four-year college can cost upwards of a thousand dollars, Ed4Credit is quite a bargain.  Additionally, the credit hours earned at Ed4Credit can be transferred to 2,000 schools, ranging from state universities to community colleges.

Our model is different than online colleges, and prepares you to begin a higher learning program with several credits under your belt.  With Ed4Credit, you’ll have access to eTextbooks, multiple websites and activities, not to mention the support and assistance you’ll enjoy every step of the way. The courses, created by curriculum design professionals to ensure easy navigation, are perfect for the self-paced individual, who may be juggling work or family life. You’ll also have ample time to complete each course—upon purchase you’ll have access to online materials for four months but you sure can move faster if you want.

Ed4Credit’s vision is to provide a cost-effective high-quality curriculum because they believe that those who want an education should have the chance to get it. Indeed, the mission of Ed4Credit is to “assist in the evolution of humanity through education.” If you’ve thought about returning to school, now is the time to act. After signing up with us, and researching what courses and colleges work for you, we team up with you to tailor make an education plan that ends with you having the real college credits you need in order to obtain the next step toward your degree or academic credential.

Around 31 million adults in the U.S have already completed some college coursework, and Ed4Credit wants to help them finish their degrees. According to GetEducated.com, 73 percent of college students now fit into the non-traditional student category, meaning that the student who went off to college at 18 and graduated in four years is no longer the norm. You’re saving money just by taking online courses and not living on campus, which might come with distractions such as inconsiderate roommates or all-night parties. Studying in your own place, and working at your own pace, is another solid step to earning that degree at a low cost.

You can’t afford not to finish that degree!

The Bureau of Labor Statistics states that in 2015 the median weekly earnings for people 25 and older who had some college, but no degree was $738 dollars, while having an Associate’s degree bumped it up by $60 dollars to $798. The unemployment rate was 5.0 percent and 3.8 percent, respectively. The median weekly earnings for people with Bachelor degrees was $1137, with unemployment at 2.8 percent, while Master’s degree owners made $1,341, and enjoyed the lower unemployment rate of 2.4 percent. The earnings figures included full time wage and salary owners.

According to howtoedu.org, the job market is only going to get more competitive, and those with degrees will fare better than those without. Of course, your life experiences are an important part of who you are, but a degree tells employees that you’re independent, determined, decisive, and have a lot to offer.
